Haras d’Etreham’s Unaided (GB) (Dansili {GB}) (lot 161), the dam of Breeders’ Cup heroine Uni (GB) (More Than Ready), is one of the blue-blooded stars of the Dec. 7-10 Arqana December Breeding Stock Sale catalogue, which was released on Tuesday. A total of 1038 horses will go through the Deauville ring, including 480 mares, 207 fillies, 335 weanlings and three stallions. The sale has been going from strength to strength in recent times, with this season’s G1 Coronation S. heroine Watch Me (Fr) (Olympic Glory {Ire}) an in utero purchase back in 2015. Other Arqana December grads, in this case in utero once again, include Japanese Group 1 winners Admire Mars (Jpn) (Daiwa Major {Jpn}) and Fierement (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}).

Unaided is one of 25 quality lots in the Haras d’Etreham draft, as is lot 189, Just Gorgeous (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a winning full-sister to top-flight winners Magical (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Rhododendron (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in foal to Almanzor (Fr).

The Wertheimer consignment numbers 22, with High Profile (GB) (lot 181) sure to attract attention as a Dansili (GB) half-sister to MG1SW Solow (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}). She is also in foal to Almanzor, who has his first foals this year.

This season marks a reduction sale for Gestut Fahrhof, which  is sending 22 lots through the ring. Solola (Ger) (Black Sam Bellamy {Ire}) (lot 91) is one such mare and she is in foal to crack sprinter Harry Angel (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}). Already a group stakes producer, the 14-year-old is a half-sister to standout South African sire Silvano (Ger) (Lomitas {GB}). Another consigner with 22 head set to sell, Haras du Mezeray offers the dam of MGSW Enbihaar (Ire) (Redoute’s Choice {Aus}), Chanterelle (Fr) (Trempolino), as lot 146. She is carrying to Wootton Bassett (GB).

Reverse shuttle stallion and top young sire Zoustar (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}) sees his first European in foal mares go through the ring and is the covering sire of record for a trio of mares from Ecurie des Monceaux, who counts Zotilla (Ire) (Zamindar) (lot 126), a half-sister to Breeders’ Cup winner Flotilla (Mizzen Mast), among their number. Monceaux’s Legende Bleue (GB) (Galileo {Ire}) (lot 127) sells in foal to one of the leading French sires in Siyouni (Fr) and is a daughter of GSW Louve (Irish River {Fr}).

Lot 171, Red Tea (GB) (Sakhee), who won the G2 Kilboy Estate S. and was third in the G1 Prix Jean Romanet, hails from the draft of the Capel Street Syndicate. Other lots of note include Fleeting Fancy (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) (lot 139) from the Fairway Consignment in foal to No Nay Never; as well as Barton Stud’s New Desire (Ire) (Dansili {GB}) (lot 186)-out of a GSW full-sister to the top-notch Islington (Ire) (Sadler’s Wells)–carrying to the star-crossed European champion Roaring Lion.
