Over 25 stud farms will participate, including Ballylinch, Boardsmill, Castlehyde, Coolmore, Derrinstown, Gilltown, Irish National Stud, Kildangan, Rathasker and Yeomanstown. The annual pilgrimage for breeders, racing professionals and racing fans will feature a wide variety of stallions, among them champion sire Galileo (Ire) (Sadler’s Wells) and leading National Hunt sire Kalanisi (Ire) (Doyoun {GB}. To register for the Trail, go to www.itm.ie/stalliontrail. “The ITM Irish Stallion Trail is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the greatest stallions on the planet,” said ITM’s Alex Cairns. “Irish-bred horses consistently hit the heights on the global stage and much of this success is down to Ireland’s top-class stallions and the farms that they call home.
