Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 8, 2019 Journalists Share Posted November 8, 2019 Prince of Arran (GB) (Shirocco {Ger}), second in Tuesday’s G1 Melbourne Cup and on the board in that feature for the second straight year, will line up next in the Nov. 24 G1 Japan Cup, trainer Charlie Fellowes revealed on Twitter on Friday. “Looks like Prince Of Arran is going to get a new stamp in his passport,” Fellowes tweeted. “His next start will be in the Japan Cup on Sunday Nov. 24. He has come through the Melbourne Cup perfectly and will fly to Tokyo on Monday.” A 6-year-old gelding, Prince of Arran is well-traveled; he has won in Britain, Dubai and Australia and has also traveled to Hong Kong and the U.S., where he was third in last year’s GII Belmont Gold Cup Invitational.
