Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 8, 2019 Journalists Share Posted November 8, 2019 Larry Best continued his high-priced purchases in Lexington this week, going to $775,000 to acquire a weanling filly by Curlin. Frank Taylor, on the phone with Best, made the winning bid from the back of the sales pavilion. The youngster is out of Fly to the Stars (Giant’s Causeway) and is a half to graded stakes placed The Tabulator (Dialed In). She was consigned to the sale by Indian Creek on behalf of breeder Peter Redekop. Stonestreet’s John Moynihan was underbidder on the weanling.
