Q Bee (Quality Road–Pike Place Dancer, by Seattle Dancer), a winning daughter of GI Kentucky Oaks heroine Pike Place Dancer, brought $57,000 from Arif Kurtel to lead Saturday’s 11th of 12 sessions of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. The 6-year-old Calumet Farm homebred was consigned by Mill Ridge Sales, agent, as Hip 4031 and offered in foal to Keen Ice.

A colt by Midshipman led the way for weanlings Saturday, bringing $34,000 from Cromwell Bloodstock. The son of Canigetayesma’am (Salute the Sarge) was consigned by Scott Mallory, Agent IX, as Hip 4160.

On Saturday, Keeneland sold 169 horses for $1,311,500, for an average of $7,760 and a median of $5,000. Cumulatively, 2,543 horses have grossed $199,592,400, for an average of $78,487 and a median of $28,000.

Taylor Made Sales Agency was the session’s leading consignor, selling 12 horses for $204,500. The session’s leading buyer K.O.I.D. paid $151,500 for eight horses.

Sunday’s final session begins at 10 a.m. ET.
