A Track Recorder holder. From a dam line that continually produces champions and a sire who has dominated recent times. Mepunga Blazer broke through for his maiden win at Sandown in a dominant 29.29. Backing up 4 days later to win the final in an even quicker 29.23. Mepunga Blazer went through the Group 1 Maturity Classic series undefeated at The Meadows running 29.97, 29.64 and 29.81. Mepunga Blazer smashed the Albion Park track record on 28th of June 2018 in a heat of the Winter Cup taking 0.1 seconds off the previous time when recording 29.41. Such a dominant display of chasing, wining by an ever extending 10 lengths. Mepunga Blazer come from a family of champions. His mother, Mepunga Nicky was herself a Group 1 and 3 winner.
