We will be sending over a shipment of Mepunga Blazer and Hasten Slowly straws in the next couple of weeks. 

Pre-orders are being taken now in order to work out how many to send over. 

Both sires are $1650aus so should end up roughly costing $2200nz but this will be confirmed once the shipping is finalised.

A bit about each sire.

Mepunga Blazer is the complete package. A Group 1 winner. A Track Recorder holder. From a dam line that continually produces champions and a sire who has dominated recent times.

Mepunga Blazer broke through for his maiden win at Sandown in a dominant 29.29. Backing up 4 days later to win the final in an even quicker 29.23.

Mepunga Blazer went through the Group 1 Maturity Classic series undefeated at The Meadows running 29.97, 29.64 and 29.81.

Mepunga Blazer smashed the Albion Park track record on 28th of June 2018 in a heat of the Winter Cup taking 0.1 seconds off the previous time when recording 29.41. Such a dominant display of chasing, wining by an ever extending 10 lengths.

Mepunga Blazer come from a family of champions. His mother, Mepunga Nicky was herself a Group 1 and 3 winner. Her brother Mepunga Geordie was a Group 3 winner. In Nicky’s first litter she produce another track record breaker in Absolute power. Blazer’s litter also included Chardy who ran 2nd in the Group 2 Ballarat Cup, Mepunga Tycoon also a Group 3 finalist and Unprecedented who in his short career each of his 4 wins were in best of the night.

He has sired over 100 litters in just 18 months with many of Austrialias leading breeders using him multiple times.  Positive reports of his pups breaking in are starting to filter through, incuding a 17.93 break-in at Kevin MacNamara's and another being sent home after 2 weeks as was doing everything right.  

 

Hasten Slowly is one of the most accomplished son’s of leading stud, Fernando Bale. He is out of Heidi Go Seek.

Hasten Slowly has just returned racing from a torn back muscle sustained in the final of the Group 1 Perth Cup. On return he won in BEST of Night at Geelong before competing in the Melboure Cup series.

Currently Hasten Slowly has amassed $452,930 from 58 Starts. (20-11-12. 74% placings). He has contested 8 Group 1’s, winning the 2018 Brisbane Cup, finishing runner up in a further 4 as well as a 3rd placing. He ran 2nd in his only Group 2 appearance and has made 3 Group 3 finals, winning the Flying Amy Classic and placing 3rd and 4th respectively in the
other two.

Hasten Slowly’s litter-mates include Go Seek Heidi, a winner over $150k and runner up in the Group 1 Sapphire Crown in both 2018 and 2019. Go Seek Fernando, the winner of over $100k and recent finalist in the Group 1 Harrison Dawson.

His Dam, Heidi Go Seek, was both a Group 1 and 2 finalist and winner of over $100k, winning numerous over 600m.
