Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 27, 2019 Journalists Share Posted November 27, 2019 Grade I winner Sporting Chance (Tiznow–Wynning Ride, by Candy Ride {Arg}) will enter stud in 202 at Fred and Linda Alexander’s A & A Ranch, according to a release, which added that “a group of local breeders have joined Alexander in the purchase of Sporting Chance from Robert C. Baker and William L. Mack.” Trained by D. Wayne Lukas, Sporting Chance was a $575,000 Keeneland September yearling who went on to capture the GI Hopeful S. at Saratoga in 2017. He was also third in the GIII Southwest S. as a sophomore. “Sporting Chance always gave it his all,” said Fred Alexander. “We just couldn’t be more excited to have a Grade I winner of $409,790 in New Mexico.
