Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 27, 2019 Journalists Share Posted November 27, 2019 Daredevil (More Than Ready–Chasethewildwind, by Forty Niner) and Super Saver (Maria’s Mon–Supercharger, by A.P. Indy) have been acquired by the Turkish Jockey Club and are relocating to Turkey, pending export requirements, WinStar Farm announced Wednesday. In the agreement, there is a provision allowing for a return to the U.S. upon completion of their stud careers. “The Turkish Jockey Club has done extremely well with Victory Gallop, who is the leading sire in Turkey, and has made a concerted effort to improve their stallion roster this year through the purchase of Bodemeister, Trappe Shot, Super Saver, and Daredevil, among others,” said Elliott Walden, president, CEO, and racing manager of WinStar Farm. “We look forward to following their careers in Turkey.” Super Saver, winner of the 2010 GI Kentucky Derby, is the sire of GISWs Runhappy, Competitive Edge and Embellish the Lace. Freshman sire Daredevil, hero of the 2014 GI Champagne S., is represented by 10 winners, including stakes winner Deviant.
