Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted December 9, 2019 Journalists Share Posted December 9, 2019 French highweight and Group 1 sire Myboycharlie (Ire) (Danetime {Ire}–Dulceata {Ire}, by Rousillon) has been sold to the Turkish Jockey Club and will stand in Turkey in 2020, SF Bloodstock’s Tom Ryan tweeted on Monday. Since 2012, the bay has covered mares at Haras du Mezeray in France. Also utilized in the Southern Hemisphere, the 14-year-old has stood at Vinery Stud and Bowness Stud in Australia. “He was one of the first stallions purchased by SF back in 2008,” Ryan said via Twitter. “During his time with us, he’s left the likes of Sistercharlie and Jameka. He will enter quarantine this week and take up stallion duties in Turkey.” A winner of the G1 Prix Morny, G3 Anglesey S. and third in the G1 National S., Myboycharlie was named the French highweight juvenile colt in 2007. At stud, he has sired 20 black-type winners, including five Group 1 winners-American champion turf female Sistercharlie (Ire), Australian champion stayer Jameka (Aus), Euro Charline (GB), Peggy Jean (Aus) and this season’s G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Invitation S. victor Begood Toya Mother (Aus).
