MGSW and MG1SP Dee Ex Bee (GB) (Farhh {GB}) has joined the yard of Salem bin Ghadayer in Dubai for the winter months, Racing Post reported. The Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum runner, who was a last out third in the Oct. 5 G1 Qatar Prix du Cadran, was formerly trained by Mark Johnston and will return to Johnston’s yard after a crack at the G2 Dubai Gold Cup on Dubai World Cup night. The 4-year-old was shipped with fellow Johnston/Sheikh Hamdan runners Matterhorn (Ire) (Raven’s Pass) and Charles Kingsley (GB) (New Approach {Ire}).

“We’re used to having horses join Godolphin from here over the years, but Salem bin Ghadayer is Sheikh Hamdan’s main trainer out there, so I understand Dee Ex Bee and the others have joined him,” Johnston told Racing Post. “We’ve been told we’ll be getting them back next year and hopefully they’ll do well out there. There looks as if there’s only one main race that Dee Ex Bee can go for which is the G2 Dubai Gold Cup on World Cup night.”
