Yankiwi
How hard is it to get the details of a race correct? Even with electronic timing, video footage & photo finish cameras they still somehow seem to get it wrong. In race 12 at Cambridge last night, Ridin' Shotgun is listed as winning the race by .75 lengths. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/13069/result-detail.aspx Yet the photo finish camera tells a very different story. https://www.grnz.co.nz/Files/PhotoFinishImages/13069_114413.jpg Somehow magically, in the second place dogs (Beautiful Boy) form line, it states it finished second by a head. Greyhound racing is an industry of contradictions, conflict of interests & cover-ups. It's obvious to me that the RIU, GRNZ board & the GRNZ staff are not up to the task to sort anything out. 1
Guest CrossCodes
That's nothing. Check out race 3 at Southland dogs on Tuesday. They have the winner recorded at Addington on Friday as Goldstar Scooby with Opawa Racer third. Well I've watched the replay, and checked on the TAB site and Opawa Racer bolted in with Goldstar Scooby third, he's even been regraded up a class and he didn't even win, talk about incompetence, who is running the show? Yankiwi
Good spotting CC. Seems the problems were on Friday in Race #9. The TAB has got it right. GRNZ have it wrong.
