The bay was a perfect six-for-six this season in which he won five Grade Is, capped by the GI Breeders’ Cup Turf, and earned $6,723,650. The $200,000 KEESEP buy was campaigned by trainer Chad Brown and owners Klaravich Stables & William Lawrence and was ridden to victory by Irad Ortiz in each of his six races. Bricks and Mortar was retired to stud at Japan’s Shadai Farm.
