Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted January 25, 2020 Journalists Share Posted January 25, 2020 A firming 13-10 favorite while making his career debut in a seven-furlong Gulfstream maiden Saturday, WinStar Farm and China Horse Club’s MARKET ANALYSIS (c, 3, Honor Code–Interest Free, by Exchange Rate) sat a stalking trip and held on late to graduate by three-quarters of a length. A $250,000 Keeneland September graduate, the gray colt wasn’t the best away, but was ridden along by John Velazquez and was up into a pressing second outside of pacesetting Express Pharoah (American Pharoah) through the middle stages. Looking all over a winner as they turned for home, Market Analysis pinched a winning break into the final eighth of a mile, he began to tire a bit, but managed to find the wire better than the late-on-the-scene Attachment Rate (Hard Spun). The colt is the first to race from his multiple stakes-placed dam, a daughter of GSW & GISP Seafree (Chief Seattle) and hailing from the family of the four-time Grade I-placed Fly Down (Mineshaft). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0. O-WinStar Farm & China Horse Club; B-W S Farish (KY); T-Todd Pletcher.
