‘Rising Star’ No Parole Takes No Prisoners in Prince S.

Tom Amoss has taken this slowly with No Parole (Violence), allowing him to progress through the restricted Louisiana-bred ranks. But it’s likely on to bigger and better for the colt, who posted a third consecutive dominating victory in annexing his first two-turn test in Saturday’s Louisana Premier Night Prince S. at Delta Downs.

Drawn outside in a field of six, No Parole found his way to the front with a minimum of fuss and settled very kindly through an internal second quarter mile that was timed in nearly 26 seconds. Still well within himself approaching the second turn, he opened an unassailable advantage and was kept to his task in the final sixteenth of a mile.

The Maggi Moss colorbearer debuted with a 14 1/4-length defeat of Guitar Tribute (Star Guitar) in a six-furlong Fair Grounds maiden Dec. 15 and earned ‘TDN Rising Star’ status for his latest stroll, a 13 1/4-length demolition of a first-level state-bred allowance in the Big Easy Jan. 11.
