When Mark Casse wrote an Op/Ed in the March 2 TDN urging racing to ban the use of Clenbuterol, he started an important conversation about the use of drugs in the sport. Today, he appears on the TDN Writers’ Room podcast to talk about why he wrote what he did. Listen in here to his conversation with Joe Bianca, Bill Finley and Jon Green, including Bianca’s first question on what percentage of dramatic form reversals–positive and negative–he feels could be attributed to Clenbuterol. Casse’s answer? “Ninety-five percent.”
