After sitting well off a burning pace, the chestnut swooped with an explosive turn of foot inside the final furlong to overtake stablemate Leading Spirit (Ire) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}) and continue a huge start for the night for trainer Satish Seemar, who took the opening Al Bastakiya S. with Emblem Storm (English Channel). The Mahab Al Shimaal is the local prep for the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen in three weeks’ time.
