Guest CrossCodes
Sad to see what has become of this former Class 5 Canterbury dog now tailing off in Class 1 CD races. The dog has got worse every start it has had for its current trainer (like most of them do) and today was just sad to watch.
Yankiwi
You may want to have another look. The best I can see is C3 win in 17.48 https://www.grnz.co.nz/greyhounds/profiles.aspx?AnimalID=32900 That's nowhere near a C5 dog in my books.

Assessed C2 at it's first NZ start which it won. Won a C3 at its second NZ start. Competed in two C5 heats as a C4 graded dog. Dropped back to C3 one start later. Won a C3 then struggled for the remaining 8 South Island starts. Of those 8 starts it only managed to jump with them twice. Finding trouble and not wanted by its former trainer arrives in the CD. The dog turns 4yo next week. Had several post race vet checks and a fall prior to moving. The dog is in the twilight years. Pretty harsh comments Cross Codes especially given the dog never won a C4 race let alone a C5. Edited March 16, 2020 by Cockyaleg
