Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted April 7, 2020 Journalists Share Posted April 7, 2020 Italian highweight and MG1SP Worthadd (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}-Wigman, by Rahy), a winner of the G2 Derby Italiano and G2 Premio Parioli (Italian 2000 Guineas), passed away at the age of 13 on Sunday, Jour de Galop reported on Tuesday. Owned by Scuderia Incolinx and later on Diego Romeo, the dark bay died of a ruptured aorta at Haras de Longechaux in France. Also successful in the G2 Premio Ribot and Germany’s G3 Badener Meile, the Compagnia Generale-bred was runner-up in the G1 Lockinge S. and third in the G1 Premio Vittorio di Capua. Trained in succession by Vittorio Caruso, Sir Mark Prescott and then Brian Lynch, he leaves behind 21 winners from77 foals of racing age. He stood for five season at the Irish National Stud before covering in France at Haras de Gelos in 2019. 2020 was his first season at Haras de Longechaux where his fee was €2,800.
