Picked up for $275,000 at OBS March after breezing a furlong in :10 flat, the dark bay was away in midpack as the 3-5 choice but soon blitzed to the front from her outside draw to show the way through a :22.86 quarter. Challenged by $250,000 OBSMAR grad Agi’s Cait (Tale of the Cat) into the final furlong, O’Keeffe found another gear late to repel that foe by 1 1/2 lengths on the wire in :52.34.
