Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted June 8, 2020 Journalists Share Posted June 8, 2020 Haras de Grandcamp-based Martinborough (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}) became the latest freshman sire to graduate when Ecurie Victoria Dreams’s Central Park West (Fr) pounced late to garner Monday’s Prix Claude Monet over 5 1/2 furlongs at Dieppe. Occupying a stalking role behind the leaders through halfway, the 13-10 favourite came under pressure to close passing the quarter-mile marker and found another gear inside the final 100 metres to deny long-time leader Oneonechop (Fr) (Kheleyf) by a half-length in the dying strides.
