WORTHILY (Point of Entry) is the latest progeny out of George Strawbridge’s Vignette (Diesis {GB}), who has given the owner-breeder so much cause for celebration in recent years. A half-brother to the Dynaformer-sired John Gosden-trained trio of class acts Lucarno–winner of the 2007 G1 St Leger–Flying Officer and Thought Worthy, the May-foaled bay faces eight on this racecourse bow.

GOLD WAND (IRE) (Golden Horn {GB}) makes her 3-year-old bow, having lost out by a neck to the highly-regarded fellow daughter of Golden Horn, Domino Darling (GB), on her sole start at Doncaster in October. Mohamed Khalid Abdulrahim’s daughter of the GII Distaff H.-placed Los Ojitos (Mr. Greeley) represents the Roger Varian stable and meets three fascinating newcomers in Khalid Abdullah’s Portrush  (GB) (Frankel {GB}), a John Gosden-trained half-sister to Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}), Newsells Park Stud’s Waldfabel (GB) (Frankel {GB}), another Gosden trainee who is a half to the G1 St Leger hero Masked Marvel (GB) (Montjeu {Ire}), and the Vesteys’ Flower of Scotland (GB) (Gleneagles {Ire}), a James Fanshawe-trained daughter of their G1 Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares S. heroine Seal of Approval (GB) (Authorized {Ire}).
