Observations on the European Racing Scene turns the spotlight on the best European races of the day, highlighting well-pedigreed horses early in their careers, horses of note returning to action and young runners that achieved notable results in the sales ring. Friday’s Insights features a half to MGISW Tepin (Bernstein).

1.05 Leopardstown, Debutantes, €16,500, 2yo, 7fT
HARVARD (IRE) (Galileo {Ire}) is introduced by Aidan O’Brien away from the Goodwood fayre and is a fascinating runner as a half-brother to the six-times top-level scorer and GI Breeders’ Cup Mile and G1 Queen Anne S. heroine Tepin (Bernstein) and multiple graded-stakes scorer Vyjack (Into Mischief). He is joined by fellow Ballydoyle representative High Definition (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a May-foaled full-brother to last year’s G2 Beresford S. winner and G1 Vertem Futurity Trophy runner-up Innisfree (Ire).
