Two-thirds of the runners for the G1 Prix du Jockey Club have passed through a sales ring at some time in their lives, at prices ranging from €27,000 to €320,000.

Olmedo (Fr) (Declaration Of War)

Bred by Jean-Pierre Dubois under his Dream With Me Stable banner, Olmedo could become a first Classic winner not just for his young sire but also for Arqana’s v.2 Sale, having been bought there for €100,000 by Jean-Claude Rouget. B – Jean-Pierre Dubois

Dice Roll (Fr) (Showcasing {GB})

Giacomo Algranti’s G3 Prix Djebel winner is also an Arqana graduate and was bought by Amanda Skiffington for €130,000 at the October Sale. He’s the fourth foal of the Pulpit mare Schlague (Fr) and was bred by the Swiss-based Gestut Zur Kuste, which also produced the G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches winner Teppal (Ire) (Camacho {Ire}). Hey Gaman (GB) (New Approach {Ire})

A vendor buyback at 100,000gns as a Tattersalls October Book 1 yearling and subsequently withdrawn from the Craven Breeze-up last year, the Rabbah Bloodstock homebred is the first foal of the stakes-placed Arsaadi (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), who died the year after he was born. The mare’s second and final foal, also by New Approach, was bought by Godolphin for 240,000gns last October. B – Rabbah Bloodstock

Intellogent (Fr) (Intello {Ger})

From the farm which routinely tops the Arqana August Sale, Intellogent was a €320,000 graduate from that auction, bought by Amanda Skiffington for Fiona Carmichael. Ecurie des Monceaux raced his dam Nuit Polaire (Ire), a Kheleyf half-sister to the Oaks d’Italia winner Night Of Magic (Ire), having bought her as a yearling for €100,000. B – Ecurie des Monceaux

Patascoy (Fr) (Wootton Bassett {GB})

Arqana’s v.2 Sale has been well represented on the track this season and Patascoy is another of its graduates. The G3 Prix de Guiche runner-up was bought by his trainer Xavier Thomas-Demeaulte for €40,000. His dam Noble World (Ger) Winged Love {Ire}) had been offered at Arqana’s February Sale in the year before he was born and was unsold at €2,000. B – Mme B Moser

Naturally High (Fr) (Camelot {GB})

A €120,000 purchase from the Haras des Capucines draft at Arqana’s August Sale, Naturally High was bought by Gerard Larrieu’s Chantilly Bloodstock. His dam Just Little (Fr) (Grand Slam), a three-time back-type producer, was offered by the same stud at Arqana in December 2008 and was signed for by Anthony Stroud at €265,000. Not Mine (Ger) (Dabirism {Fr})

Out of a half-sister to German Derby winner Next Desert (Ire), Not Mine went through the Arqana sales ring as a foal and a yearling, fetching €36,000 the first time when offered by Haras d’Ombreville and sold for Ecurie Normandie Pur Sanf, for whom he still races, despite being marked as sold for €130,000 at the August Sale. Study Of Man (Ire) (Deep Impact {JPN})

Study Of Man is a grandson of the Niarchos family’s fabulous Miesque out of her Storm Cat daughter Second Happiness, a half-sister to Kingmambo and East Of The Moon. The latter’s grand-daughter Alpha Centauri (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) won last weekend’s Irish 1,000 Guineas. B-Flaxman Stables Ireland

Louis d’Or (Fr) (Intello {Ger})

Bought by his trainer Tony Castanheira for €27,000 at the Arqana October Sale, this Wildenstein-bred colt is out of a sister to the G1 Gran Premio di Milano winner Sudan (Ire) (Peintre Celebre). B – Dayton Investments Ltd.

Stable Genius (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr})

Bought privately for €28,000 after failing to sell in the ring at Arqana’s August Sale, the progressive son of Siyouni is already a winner and Group 3-placed for his syndicate of owners which includes bloodstock agent Hubert Guy and Antoine Gilibert. His dam Anjella (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}) was bought from her breeder Gestut Schlenderhan as a 3-year-old for €145,000. B – Haras de la Perelle

Key Victory (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire})

The unbeaten half-brother to Meydan Group 1 winner Blair House (Ire) (Pivotal{GB}) is out of a sister to the late stallion Poet’s Voice (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}). John Ferguson bought his grandam Bright Tiara (Chief’s Crown) for $3-million from the Three Chimneys draft at Keeneland’s November Sale in 2000. B – Godolphin

Flag Of Honour (Ire) (Galileo {Ire})

Bred by David Nagle from the Warning (GB) mare Hawala (Ire), who has already produced the Group 3 winner Air Chief Marshall (Ire) and Irish 2,000 Guineas runner-up Foxtrot Romeo (Ire), both by Danehill Dancer (Ire). Hawala was originally bought from her breeder the Aga Khan for IRG9,000 as a 5-year-old by Pheopotstown Stud and was sold on four years later in foal to Hawk Wing for 280,000gns. B – Barronstown Stud

Hunting Horn (Ire) (Camelot {GB})

Like Flag Of Honour, Hunting Horn has not been through a sales ring. His dam Mora Bai (Ire) (Indian Ridge {Ire}), a half-sister to dual Derby winner High Chaparral (Ire) (Sadler’s Wells), was acquired for 380,000gns by Charlie Gordon-Watson when offered by Jockey Hall Stud as a 7-year-old at the Tattersalls December Sale. B – Lynch-Bages and Rhinestone Bloodstock

Kenya (Ire) (Galileo {Ire})

Bred by the same Coolmore-affiliated partnership which bred Hunting Horn, Kenya is out of the Wertheimer-bred mare Tender Morn (Dayjur), who was sold as a 14-year-old at Arqana, where she raised a winning bid of €300,000 from Horse France. B – Lynch-Bages and Rhinestone Bloodstock

Beat Generation (GB) (Sixties Icon {GB})

A first Classic runner for his young Chantilly-based trainer Carla O’Halloran and ridden by her partner Fabien Lefebvre, Beat Generation was bred by Paula Smith, the wife of his owner Paul James Smith from the Officer mare Boleyna. His dam, a 40,000gns Tattersalls Craven Breeze-up graduate, also raced for the Smiths having been bought by her trainer Rae Guest. B – Mrs P Smith

Rostropovich (Ire) (Frankel {GB})

Bred by Denis Brosnan’s Croom House Stud under the Epona Bloodstock banner, this half-brother to Zoffany (Ire) was sold to MV Magnier and the Mayfair Speculators was sold for 1.1- million gns from Book 1 of Tattersalls’ October Sale. Brosnan bought his dam Tyranny (GB) (Machiavellian) from Philippa Coooper’s Normandie Stud while she was carrying Zoffany for 230,000gns. B – Epona Bloodstock
