Held up early with one behind by Clement Lecoeuvre, the 153-10 outsider was delivered late to overhaul Kaspar (Ger) (Pivotal {GB}) in the dying strides and edge ahead by a neck, with the long-time leader and 2-1 favourite Dame Malliot (GB) (Champs Elysees {GB}) close up in third.
