Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted August 21, 2020 Journalists Share Posted August 21, 2020 The Tattersalls Ascot Yearling Sale has been moved forward a day and will now take place on Sept. 7 at Park Paddocks. The move is designed to accommodate those wishing to attend both the Ascot sale and Arqana’s Deauville Select yearling sale, which has been moved forward two weeks to Sept. 9 to 11 in light of new French quarantine restrictions in the UK. The Ascot yearling sale enjoyed a significant boost on Thursday when Miss Amulet (Ire) (Sir Prancealot {Ire}) took the G2 Lowther S. at York, following on from last month’s win by Steel Bull (Ire) (Clodovil {Ire}) in the G3 Molecomb S. at Glorious Goodwood. Thirty-four 2-year-old winners and nine black-type winners have been sourced at the sale since 2019 at an average price of £12,500, and the 257 yearlings catalogued this year are all eligible for the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes.
