Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted September 3, 2020 Journalists Share Posted September 3, 2020 Nominations for Speed Star events to be held at The Meadows on Wednesday 16 September (Twilight) are now open. Nominations close on Monday 14 September at 8am. Qualification for Speed Star events are based on times run at The Meadows from 1 June 2020 – 12 September inclusive. Exhibition trials to qualify for the series are also available on Saturday 5 September and Wednesday 9 September. Please note that six standard metropolitan races will also be conducted at this race meeting. Trainers are advised that due to current social distancing requirements, the two-wave boxing method will be used for match races, with the greyhound starting from box 1 being boxed first followed by the greyhound starting from box 3.
