Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted June 5, 2018 Journalists Share Posted June 5, 2018 Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}), last year’s Cartier Horse of the Year, is recovering well from a knee injury that knocked her out of the first half of 2018. “Enable is fine, but it won’t be until July until we have any idea of how we are going or where we are going,” said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner/breeder Khalid Abdullah. “She has been in very good form and is just in light exercise at the moment. We will see how she goes, but there is not too much to report at the moment.” Enable was last seen beating elders when winning the G1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on Oct. 1, and Grimthorpe said it is still “realistic” that she will be fit for an Arc defense. “You always have to be optimistic and it is still realistic that she will be back in time for the Arc,” he said.
