Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted October 8, 2020 Journalists Share Posted October 8, 2020 Newsells Park Stud’s Galileo (Ire) filly out of Shastye (Ire) (Danehill) (lot 436) was always going to be one of the star turns of this year’s edition of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, and the full-sister to Group 1 winners Japan (GB) (1.3-million gns at this sale) and Mogul (GB) (3.4-million gns) obliged on Thursday when sold to MV Magnier for 3.4-million gns. She becomes the fifth seven-figure yearling out of the remarkable Shastye, who has also produced by Galileo the group winners Secret Gesture (GB) and Sir Isaac Newton (GB) (3.6-million gns). Japan, Mogul and Sir Isaac Newton were all bought here by Magnier.
