Sept. 26, Teme Valley 2 syndicate’s Gear Up (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) relished the step up to 10 furlongs to make all in Saturday’s G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud. Always happy under James Doyle, the 55-2 shot kept battling to see off Botanik (Ire) (Golden Horn {GB}) by a short neck, with the previously unbeaten unbeaten 13-10 favourite Makaloun (Fr) (Bated Breath {GB}) 1 3/4 lengths behind in third.
