Wanganui's jumps day on Sunday has been canned due to insufficient entries , 14 across 4 jumping races , with some of those double nom's .

I believe they were told to programme earlier but decided not to , this meeting is about getting horses a jumping race in before going for a spell then getting prepared for next season .

Obviously most felt it was too late with a good chance of a firm track .

But what would the participants know .

to be fair tracks should be firm this time of the year,i think we are  lucky to of had what jumping races we have had
