Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted June 11, 2018 Journalists Share Posted June 11, 2018 Mascha (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}), a last out winner of the Listed Diana-Trial at Baden-Baden on June 2, was knocked down for €450,000 to Michel Zerolo of Oceanic Bloodstock during the Arqanaonline auction on Monday. Second on debut at Saint-Cloud for trainer Andreas Suborics, the daughter of the winning Calima Mon Amour (Fr) (Shirocco {Ger}) drew 15 investors from America, Germany, France and the UK during the online bidding Monday morning. The €170,000 Arqana May graduate, whose second dam is the German stakes winner First Smile (GB) (Surumu {Ger}), will now join the yard of Jean-Claude Rouget. “It has been another spirited, successful sale on Arqanaonline.com and I want to thank Andreas Suborics as well as all the buyers who gave this smart filly a go,” said Arqana CEO Eric Hoyeau. “The platform is so efficient with form horses and has really captured the interest of agents from around the world–to have three live bidders beyond the €300,000 threshold is no mean feat. We wish Mascha’s new connections the very best with their purchase.” View the full article
