Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 20, 2020 Journalists Share Posted November 20, 2020 Louisiana’s Acadiana Equine @ Copper Crowne announced Friday reduced 2021 stud fees for Gemologist, Court Vision, and Astrology. The trio represents three of the top six sires in Louisiana. “For obvious reasons we want to provide Louisiana breeders some relief and give them a better opportunity for profitability in the future,” said stallion manager David Tillson. Gemologist (Tiznow), who has led the Louisiana sire list for the last two years, will stand for $4,000, down from $4,500 for 2020. Court Vision (Gulch), sire of 2019’s Eclipse-winning 2-year-old colt Storm the Court, will stand for $2,500 after standing for $3,500 last year. And finally, Astrology (A.P. Indy), who stood for $4,000 in 2020, will be available for $2,500 in 2021.
