Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted January 30, 2021 Journalists Posted January 30, 2021 DRAIN THE CLOCK (c, 3, Maclean's Music–Manki, by Arch) completely dominated his competition in Saturday's GIII Swale S. to notch his fourth win from five starts. Likely to have been undefeated if not for a broken iron and lost rider when he was even-money in the Jean Lafitte S. at Delta Nov. 30, the chestnut aired by 7 1/2 lengths last time in the local Limehouse S. Jan. 2 with only breeder Nick Cosato's Slam Dunk Racing on the ownership line. Off at even-money here, Drain the Clock sat locked on to a foe before blowing the race open after a :45.27 half. He cruised home some eight lengths clear of King's Ovation (Not This Time), stopping the clock in 1:23.29. O-Slam Dunk Racing, Madaket Stables LLC, Wonder Stables & Michael Nentwig.
