Average wagering per day during the month was $3,763,146–up 21.60% from last year. Purses for the month were $71,102,287, a 1.41% dip from 2020, while race days decreased to 255 from 283 days and number of races fell to 2,211 from 2,352. Average field size during the month rose to 8.09 from 7.95 last year.
