Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted February 27, 2021 Journalists Share Posted February 27, 2021 The latest change in Alert level changes mean harness racing will continue in this country, much as it did post lockdown. From 6am Sunday the Government’s moved to place Auckland at Level 3, with the rest of the country at Level 2. At Level Three meetings can proceed but with no public or owners. Meetings run under Level 2 allow owners to attend and also give the clubs the opportunity to apply to host pods of up to 100 registered attendees. Meetings this week include Waikouaiti at Oamaru today (Sunday) – Level 2, Cambridge Thursday – Level 2, Auckland Friday – Level 3, Addington Friday – Level 2. With Auckland at a different level from the rest of the country there are implications for trainers and drivers from outside Auckland wanting to drive at Alexandra Park on Friday. There will be regular updates on www.hrnz.co.nz and on social media channels during the week. The post New alert levels and what it means for racing appeared first on BOAY Racing News.
