Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted March 6, 2021 Journalists Share Posted March 6, 2021 Willis Horton Racing's WILL'S SECRET (f, 3, Will Take Charge–Girls Secret, by Giant's Causeway) ran her current winning streak to three, holding off the rail-skimming Pauline's Pearl (Tapit) to win for the first time at graded level in Saturday's GIII Honeybee S. at Oaklawn Park. The homebred, who bested the re-opposing Coach (Commissioner) by better than five lengths in the Jan. 30 Martha Washington S., alternated on the engine with the rail-drawn Tabor Hall (Candy Ride {Arg}) before putting that one away two abreast at the quarter-pole. Joined to her outside by 'TDN Rising Star' Sun Path (Munnings), Will's Secret remained under a confident ride from Jon Court into the final furlong, then was put to some pressure late as Pauline's Pearl closed off nicely at the fence. Sun Path held to be a sound third. Third to top Kentucky Oaks hopeful Clariere (Curlin) in an Oct. 25 Churchill maiden, Will's Secret broke her maiden in a rained-off event going two turns at the Fair Grounds Dec. 20 ahead of her dominant effort in the Martha Washington. Lifetime Record: 6-3-0-2. O/B-Willis Horton Racing LLC (KY); T-Dallas Stewart.
