Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted March 9, 2021 Journalists Share Posted March 9, 2021 Quality four-year-old mare Entriviere (NZ) (Tavistock) will be given her chance to shine across the Tasman after a dominant victory in Sunday’s Gr.3 King’s Plate (1200m) at Ellerslie. Trainer Jamie Richards is keen to target the Gr.2 Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on the second day of The Championships with the daughter of Tavistock, who is putting together an impressive record. “That would be a nice race for her. It is set weights and penalties for fillies and mares. She has got a wicked turn of foot and she does seem to handle a bit of cut in the ground,” Richards told Racing HQ. “We believe she is a Group One horse in the making and we would like to give her the opportunity to show herself off. “I just love the way she pins the ears back and tries 100 percent. You can’t train that. It is either with them or it’s not and she is doing a super job. She has won five of her six starts and probably with a little bit of luck would be undefeated. “She is going really well and we think she is a high-class mare.” The post Sydney assignment for Entriviere appeared first on BOAY Racing News.
