Flagship uberalles Posted June 24, 2018 Share Posted June 24, 2018 Sometime in the early 80s I remember as a 10-12yr old watching the racing on channel 1, I think it was either the railway or the Concord sprint and I remember a horse breaking down (for some reason "sparkling time" is stuck in my head) anyway this horse broke down and they put the curtains around it...however I remember my dad reading in the Sunday paper the next day that the trainer wasn't having anything of having the horse euthanized and put him on the float and took him home.
