Always near enough to the furious tempo set by Naval Crown (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), the 16-1 shot was joined by Master of the Seas (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) as they stayed on past that pacemaker a furlong from home. Headed and seemingly held, the homebred who took the Apr. 11 Listed 2000 Guineas Trial S. at Leopardstown dug deep for Kevin Manning to win it on the bobber by a short head, with Lucky Vega (Ire) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) just a neck away in third as the low-drawn horses dominated.
