The Elmont oval’s fall schedule includes 44 stakes (18 graded) worth over $10 million. Breeders’ Cup qualifying events are the GI Jockey Club Gold Cup, GI Joe Hirsch Turf Classic and GI Vosburgh S. Sept. 29; GI Futurity S. and GI Frizette S. Oct. 6; and GI Flower Bowl S. and GI Champagne S. Oct. 7.
