And further below, be sure to check out The Watchdog’s $10 spend… 6.41pm Sandown R3: Jazz Opera (Healesville Oaks) Carry On Angel (3rd Harrison-Dawson) Father Phevos (4 of past 7) Gypsy Yankee (29.37PB) 7.07pm Warrnambool R6: Lalina (13 from 22) will take stopping. 7.25pm Warrnambool R7: Accomplished stayer Run Like Jess (6-time group finalist) returns from a 5-week spell over 450m. 8.19pm Albion Park R6: The eye-catching Do It fellow Victorian Qwara Bale (G1 Sapphire Crown) in a heat of the G2 Flying Amy Classic. 8.25pm Sandown R8: Aston Gwen (G2 Laurels) has a class edge but is no certainty. 8.34pm Warrnambool R10: Explosive Ballarat Cup finalist Bulleteer takes on a quality field. 8.40pm Albion Park R7: Victorian Mr. Fix It lines up in a heat of the G2 Flying Amy Classic. 8.49pm Sandown R9: Up-and-coming 2-time group finalist Mepunga Warrior looks set to capitalise on a smaller line-up. 9.04pm Albion Park R8: Victorian Lakeview Cruiser (Australian Cup finalist) contests a heat of the G2 Flying Amy Classic. 9.10pm Sandown R10: 23-month-old Gypsy Wyong (3 from 4) returns to Sandown after producing one of the runs of the year last week. REPLAY MUST-WATCH RACE: Accell Therapy Grade 5 MEPUNGA WARRIOR WIOLETA BALE RUN BABA RUN Sandown Park Race 9 515m 8:49pm Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/9 The Watchdog says : MEPUNGA WARRIOR (4) has always shown enormous potential and he recently qualified for the Group 2 Warrnambool Cup Final. His poor box manners can be a little frustrating at times, however with the smaller line-up tonight, he should get a nice run through at the bend and be in a stalking position as they head to the back straight. RUN BABA RUN (8) and WIOLETA BALE (7) are the two on-speed runners and are both racing with confidence. I am expecting them to match motors for most of the trip, but they are likely to set the table for the top elect. The ‘Warrior’ has gone up skinny odds, but he really does look well placed tonight and this should be a nice confidence booster for this serious up-and-comer. Selections: 4 – 8 – 7 – 1 THE WATCHDOG’S $10 INVESTMENT Thursday 3 June $3 Multi First : Bundle Bet – 2,5 Sandown Park Race 1 595m 6:03pmTAB fixed odds: $1.19 Win (any one of the two selections to win) Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/1 Second: Bundle Bet – 3,7,8 Sandown Park Race 2 515m 6:24pmTAB fixed odds: $1.79 Win (any one of the three selections to win) Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/2 Third : Bundle Bet – 4,7 Sandown Park Race 3 515m 6:41pmTAB fixed odds: $1.34 Win (any one of the two selections to win) Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/3 Fourth : Place – STAR BLAZER Sandown Park Race 4 1 715m 6:58pmTAB fixed odds: $1.24 Place (top two finish required) Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/4 The Watchdog says : WEBLEC STAR (2) and MEPUNGA RUBY (5) are expected to dominate Race 1. DR. NEEKI (3) should lead in Race 2, however TALBINGO BALE (7) and MINTER EDITION (8) are powerful types so any one of those three could get the cash. GYPSY YANKEE (7) is back to his best and can lead throughout in Race 3, however CARRY ON ANGEL (4) has the class edge, and just needs an ounce of luck early on. STAR BLAZER (1) can lead them up in Race 4 and a top two finish looks likely. Multi price: $3.53 $2 Quaddie – 25% (8 combinations) Warrnambool Races 5 – 8 6:49pm Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960178/race/5 : 1,2,7,8 : 2,3 : 4 : 1 The Watchdog says : The first leg is open and we’re hoping for some value with the inside two runners. HANDSOME JACK (2) and LALINA (3) are jet propelled and should match motors throughout in the second leg. RUN LIKE JESS (4) has the class edge over his rivals and is expected to sprint well fresh in the third leg. COCO NOVA (1) should pounce on the lead and cruise to victory in the last leg. $2 Trifecta – 4 / 7,8 / 1,5,7,8 (33.33%) Sandown Park Race 9 515m 8:49pm ***Must Watch Race***Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/9 The Watchdog says : MEPUNGA WARRIOR (4) is a beast and should appreciate the smaller line-up, so with an ounce of luck, he will prove too strong late. WIOLETA BALE (7) and RUN BABA RUN (8) should set the tempo and they can fill the placings, whilst FULL MOON PARTY (1) and ZIPPING NORMAN (5) are strong types and need to be included for third spot. $3 Win – MOW A MEADOW Sandown Park Race 11 Box 1 515m 9:34pmTAB fixed odds: $2.90 Win Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960177/race/11 The Watchdog says : He has continued to improve with each run, and he was enormous last time out. After beginning well, he had no trouble holding the early lead, however with the powerful Pilbara on his heels, it looked like he may have had to settle for second spot, but as they turned for home, he booted away again to score. That win was ultra-impressive, and he exits the same draw tonight, so with a clean getaway, he should hold a top two spot early and prove too classy.
