HorseBetting’s Queensland form analyst has previewed Ipswich’s Sunday afternoon card and has found three best bets and a quaddie for the meeting. They will be running on a Good 4 and the rail is out 10m for the entire course. The first of the big nine race card is set to jump at 11:20am AEST.

Best Bet – All To Do

Stuart Kendrick and James Orman combine in the last race of the day with the handy, All To Do. This son of All Too Hard was a brilliant winner first-up at Doomben, racing away to win by 3.5 lengths, but has been admittedly lacklustre in his last two. Now fourth-up and into an easier race over 1350m, the four-year-old gelding is likely to go forward from barrier eight and can be returning to the winner’s stall.

Next Best – Starhattan

This two-year-old filly is another from the Stuart Kendrick stable, but this time to be partnered by Luke Tarrant. The daughter of Star Witness never looked the winner anywhere in the run on debut at the Sunshine Coast over 1000m, before charging late to get up by the smallest of margins. She rises from 1000m to 1350m on Sunday which will suit given the way she got home late last time out. From barrier one, Tarrant will have this filly in a prominent spot and we expect her to be too good again.

Best Value – A’yun

One of these days A’yun will win a race, and we are hoping Sunday is the day. The three-year-old filly has had nine starts for five minor placings, including a last start half-length defeat over 2170m at Toowoomba. The daughter of Glass Harmonium rises just 40m to the 2210m course at Ipswich which is going to suit, and she has drawn to box seat in gate one. Nozi Tomizawa has done the riding in all three starts this prep, so hopefully he can go one better again on her.
