The favorite, who had suffered her first loss when a narrowly beaten runner-up in the Apr. 30 GI Kentucky Oaks, sat off the pace as Dayoutoftheoffice (Into Mischief) raced keenly through fractions of :23.50 and :47.23. She ranged up three wide into the stretch and surged to the lead with a furlong to run, completing the mile in 1:35.50.

Search Results, a debut winner at Gulfstream Jan. 3, won the Mar. 6 Busher S. in her second start and went into the Oaks off a 2 3/4-length victory in the Apr. 3 GIII Gazelle S. She was a $310,000 KEESEP yearling purchase.
