Michael House has some treats to warm up punters during a winter’s afternoon of racing at Addington on Sunday.

House will be out to continue his fine form at Addington’s Sunday meetings with a six-strong team.

The always upfront and forthright trainer is particularly keen on the winning chances of two of his runners.

House, whose Facebook preview broadcasts have rapidly gaining popularity, thinks only bad luck will beat Franco Hoffman in race 1.

After beating home the pacer and her sister Sheree Wigg home at Addington last month with Dreaminsover, Cheryl Wigg takes the reins behind the five-year-old.

“Let’s just say if the driver goes the wrong way, that is the only way he will get beat,” House said.

Franco Hoffman opened at a $2.40 fixed odds win price before quickly being backed into $1.85 odds.

House is also keen on the chances of Cha Cha B, who will be driven by Blair Orange in race 7.

The six-year-old lines up from barrier 1 after a tidy second placing behind smart filly Dashtothebeach.

House rates Cha Cha B the leading hope from his stable, with Don’t Quote Me also lining up in the event.

“Cha Cha B should win from that draw with Blair driving him,” House said.

Don’t Quote Me goes into race 7 for driver Jim Curtin after running on well in his last start at Forbury Park after getting well off the pace.

Cha Cha B opened at a fixed odds win price of $3.30 with Don’t Quote Me behind him at $16.

House also thinks She’s A Dagg can feature fresh up in race 5, also with Orange in the sulky.

The four-year-old comes into her 2600m standing start assignment on the back of a tidy trial win at Rangiora.

“I think she can run a place and pay great place money,” House said.

“She is a good standing start horse, she’s had a decent break and she has come back stronger.”

House and Orange will also combine with Zircon Lass who has produced mixed form going into race 4.

“Her form isn’t great.”

“She needs a perfect trip and if she got the perfect trip she would race good.”

She’s A Dagg opened at $9 (win) and $3.30 (place) odds.

Greenback Boogie produced solid form before being checked and having a gear issue in his last start eighth at Addington.

Whether the four-year-old bounce back with Orange in the cart will depend on what kind of luck she gets from barrier 8.

“She has worked good during the week, she could win the race if everything went her way.”

Greenback Boogie opened at $5 (win) and $2.05 (place) in race 8’s fixed-odds market.
