The synthetic track at Ballarat is scheduled to host a nine-part card on Tuesday afternoon, and HorseBetting.com.au’s Victorian horse racing tipster has found a couple of best bets and a quaddie as well as odds from Australia’s best online bookmakers. The first race is set to jump at 1pm AEST.

Ballarat Best Bet: Bainbridge

Our best bet on the Ballarat program comes around the Liam Howley-trained Bainbridge will be looking to continue his strong form from Geelong when he steps out on the synthetic for the first time. Having been beaten a half head at his most recent effort over the Geelong 1741m he looks well placed to bring up a second win from three starts this campaign over the 2100m. His maiden win two starts back was as dominant as it comes when leading all the way and scoring by 5.5 lengths under a well rated steer. Billy Egan hops on board for this effort and from barrier 13 will go forward on five-year-old son of Rebel Raider where he can dictate terms, kick clear and prove too strong for this BM64 field.

Best BetRace 5 – Bainbridge (#4) $2.20 with Sportsbet

Next Best at Ballarat: Tipperary Lass

Ben and JD Hayes send their three-year-old Nicconi filly Tipperary Lass to Ballarat following a runner-up performance on the Pakenham synthetic on July 4. Despite box seating on that day at Pakenham she could not go on with it in the home straight and was beaten by 1.25 lengths but has her chance to turn that form around on Tuesday. Jamie Mott retains the ride which is a bonus and from barrier 10, we expect Mott to settle the filly midfield with cover, where he can then ask for an effort when required and with even luck she should be breaking through for a deserved maiden victory.

Next BestRace 3 – Tipperary Lass (#10) $4.60 with Sportsbet

Ballarat Value Bet: My Boy Birmingham

In the opening leg of the quaddie, the Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained My Boy Birmingham steps back from city grade at Morphettville on June 26 back to the track and distance he broke his maiden at on debut two starts back on June 7. Dean Holland hops back on board for this third-up run and from barrier five should have no issue in finding the front and dictating the speed. In a race that is bereft of early pace he should get his own way out in front and if he brings the debut effort to this race on Tuesday, he will be too good for this lot at a nice price.

Best ValueRace 6 – My Boy Birmingham (#2) $9.00 with Sportsbet
