Two Emmys Upsets Mr. D.

Two Emmys (g, 5, English Channel–MIss Emmy, by Buddha) went wire-to-wire to earn his first graded victory in the GI Mr. D. S. at Arlington Saturday. Dismissed at 27-1, Two Emmys was allowed to set pedestrian splits of :26.12 and :52.43, while 2-5 favorite Domestic Spending (GB) (Kingman {GB}) rated kindly in fourth. The longshot pacesetter scampered clear into stretch and, while Domestic Spending gave it all he had late, it wasn't enough to catch Two Emmys. Glynn County (Kitten's Joy) was third. The time for the 1 1/4 miles was 2:03.34.
Two Emmys was second in the GII Muniz Classic at Fair Grounds Mar. 20 and was second again in the GIII Arlington S. last time out. Lifetime Record: 16-4-7-0. O-Wolfe Racing & Hugh Robertson. B-Tottenwood Thoroughbreds Inc (Ky). T-Hugh Robertson.
