Going Global (Ire) (f, 3, Mehmas {Ire}–Wrood, by Invasor {Arg}) kept the leaders within her scope in a covered-up fifth, tipped out and gamely split horses at the top of the stretch and punched home nicely as the 7-5 favorite to capture Saturday's GI Del Mar Oaks. Closing Remarks (Vronsky) was second; Fluffy Socks (Slumber {GB}) was third. The final time for 1 1/8 miles was 1:48.91.

Going Global, winner of the GIII Providencia S. Apr. 3 and GIII Honeymoon S. May 22, had a five-race winning streak snapped when second in the GII San Clemente S. last time July 24.
