The group-placed Devilwala (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) (lot 98) led the way during the early portion of session one of the Tattersalls August Sale on Tuesday. Offered by Robson Aguiar's Aguiar Bloodstock, Ltd., the 3-year-old colt and G2 Gimcrack S. second was picked up by Barberini Bloodstock for 75,000gns. Bred by Tally-Ho Stud in Ireland and originally a 220,000gns 2-year-old purchase at the rescheduled Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale last term, the son of Najraan (GB) (Cadeaux Genereux {GB}), herself a half-sister to stakes winner Excelette (Ire) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}), was also fourth in the G1 Dewhurst as a juvenile.
