Runhappy Gets First Graded Win from ‘Rising Star’ Following Sea

'TDN Rising Star' FOLLOWING SEA (c, 3, Runhappy–Quick Flip, by Speightstown) became his young sire's first graded stakes winner and also stamped his ticket to the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint with a 4 1/2-length front-running victory in Saturday's GII Vosburgh S. at Belmont Park. The sophomore stopped the clock in 1:09.20. Defending champion Firenze Fire (Poseidon's Warrior) was second over big figure earner Baby Yoda (Prospective) in third. Following Sea further flattered the form of the Aug. 28 GI H. Allen Jerkens Memorial S., becoming the fifth next-out winner from as many to run back.
